We have formed a chess club for the purpose of inspiring younger generation to pick up the game and also giving oppurtunity to adults to harness their skill. We provide both informal and tournament games and sometimes offer league play. Our Chess club provides at least one of the following:

• Informal & friendly games
• Club and inter-club competitions
• Opportunities to play in one or more leagues
• Tournaments

Language classes at Swindon Hindu Temple & Cultural Centre is a charitable event that provides free language courses for adults and children who want to learn their mother tongue or any other Indian regional language(s) with the aim of helping develop key skills and cnable them to read, write and communicate in their prefered language. We are proud of the successful events that we have put on within a number of communities over the past year, ranging from hindi, bangala, marathi, tamil, kanada, telgu, malyalam and many more languages.

Swindon Hindu Temple & Cultural Centre works with comunity members to help children and adults learn different forms of dance and participate in cultural events to showcase their talent. Our aim is to provide a safe and condusive environment to all our members so that everyone can come together, help each other, learn, develop and flourish their talent.

We strive to provide opportunities to everyone to not only be included, but to become more visible citizens, to follow their dreams and to succeed in their ambitions. Our work inspires and empowers both dancers and audiences to believe there are endless opportunities for everyone.

We at Swindon Hintu Temple & Cultutal Centre want to inspire everyone to sing! We work alongside teachers and school communities, we support children’s wider skill development and wellbeing through diverse, accessible and inclusive singing programmes. We create a supportive and collaborative learning space for educators, parents and moreover for learners irrespective of their age, sex or ability. Together we can ensure that everyone finds their voice through the power of singing!

We at Swindon Hindu Temple & Cultural Centre offers free and paid classes to learn how to play differemt musical instruments. We want to provide access to all our members and wider community to work and learn together new skill. We believe passionately that everyone should have access to quality affordable instrumental tuition.

We support those who come from economically deprived areas or whose families are on benefits as well as supporting adult learners who are in receipt of benefits.
